Wed: Baby and I set out for your short leisure trip to Tioman! it's a great trip.

We arrived after bus and ferry to the clear green waters....but the sun was very hot....took the shuttle provided by the Berjaya Resort to the lobby, check in, and there was a nice little bus to drive us to our DELUXE chalet....how great? We were quite impressed by the driver's skills. he can really negotiate the all the small and winding turns to our chalet. and our chalet is off the road because it's facing the beach.

We were very glad to have upgraded our room because not only was our room bigger, we soon found out that almost everything we needed could be reached within 1 min. (with the exception of the reception, which we could just call from our room. ) there was a nice swimming pool with jacuzzi, children's pool children's slide, and a pool bar! not to mention many many nice deck chairs and shades to sit by the pool, sun-tan, sleep or read. and the restaurant is just beside the pool. so first thing we did was to eat lunch. the food was okay-priced....and standard is good. Nig had a creamy seafood fettucine with very nice tasting parmesan cheese. and the seafood they added was great! (i tried a small, tweeny bit of fish). and it costs RM25. not bad....we sat by the pool and enjoyed the sea breeze while having lunch. the holiday is starting out real well!
