was reading this book "the gift" or something....distributed by campus crusade..... cool book....it tells what the bible says in a very easy to understand story kind of way......

read this part whereby Jesus made a very selfless choice to leave home so as to preach to others......if it was me....i'll never have the courage to do so.....what complete belief and trust!!!!

was thinking, God doesn't do things so that we return his love....he doesn't expect it.....just like friendship, or love, you give and you don't expect anything in return......and yet.....it is the way preachers word the idea....to make us feel that Jesus gave up and suffered so so so so much for us, thus, we should give up material things and selfish gains, and do more for the ministry "in return" of His Kindness......BUT, they always emphasize that what we do is never enough to compare to Jesus....it's just this idea of reciprocating that we, our conscience, feels...that we must do something in return....we are being treated so well....etc etc....come to think of it, feel a bit exploited lah.....
