Here's the model reply to whether USP students are elitist...given by our deputy director for student affairs.
"USP students are not elitists. i think of them as prima donnas: they are used to being in the spotlight, and do not like to follow the crowd. Perhaps that is why there is a misconception that they are elitist.
When conducting our admission interviews, we look out for people who are passionate and have a hunger for knowledge. their passion can be in diverse areas - artistic pursuits, sports, community service etc. we value creativity and critical thinking skills highly. therefore it is not surprising that our students are often confident and have a slight slant towards individualism. "

Stepping in Line is about my life, as a Salsa dancer. The style that I am dancing requires the ladies to dance along a Line. The same can be said about life. In a few months, yours truly will be stepping in line, entering worklife. Stepping in line for salary, queueing up for food, and stepping onto the line of human drug-dispensers.

so what =) it's the friends we found.. individualistic egoistic ambitious moody; independent driven goal-getters passionate whatever.. and otherwise. who's to define anyone else
