realised that going to australia for the first time also allowed me to do many many things for the first time. shall compile a list after i've recounted the rest of my aussie trip.
i think i went to this bar on both nights, P.J O'Briens. it was having some pole idol thingy where people go on stage spontaneously to pole dance after 2 professional pole dancers demo...sad to say even the professionals weren't that good, i think Nance/Natalie is better, hahax.
the next night we went there again to see the same horny old guys waiting to grind some young girls. but that night was featuring some world famous coyote girls and they were really quite good...their bodies are very very toned, not muscular.
entered myself into the patient counselling competition in IPSF. just for the sake of challenging myself. entered the intermediate category. the next day, was napping away at some secluded area of the congress venue when my friends smsed me, telling me to return to the LT because i was one of the three finalists....OMG! my mind was a total blank, i forgot how to go about counselling in like the first half an hour i woke up. thank goodness for Vidhu, this indian delegate who was slacking nearby too. she was recapping with me, later i found out that she was to win the first place for the standard category (people who have never done counselling before]. do you believe in lucky days and bad days? just the day before the finals, i lost my ipod shuffle in the computer room and actually walked into the sliding glass door of our balcony (it still hurts now...). the next day, the congress chairperson handed me my ipod shuffle, said it was lost and found, i go into the finals...
i actually got sick of drinking and clubbing. maybe it's the repetitive music (the clubs have only 10 songs which tey repeat every night). maybe it's the frequency at which we were clubbing away, maybe it's coz a special someone wasn't there to have fun with me.
got sick of the long long long queues for dinner everyday, sick of the same old horrible sandwiches they served us every lunch. when i got back, i was so happy to be eating noodles, prata and fried carrot cake...and no more dry scaly skin, it's back to sweat, sweat, sweat. i think my complexion got better there because i was slapping lots of moisturiser on my face. just yesterday, i spent $70 on a new bottle of vichy moisturiser and concealer...hope it's totally worth it.
